Legislative ExperienceLindy played an integral role in the creation of the Saskatchewan Section of L' Assemblée parlementaire de la Francophonie and served as President, 2002-03. Nine provincial assemblies, the Senate, and House of Commons belong to the Americas Region of APF.

In 2001, Lindy was a Co-Chair of the bid and presentation committees that resulted in the selection of Regina to host the 80th Midwest Council of State Governments Annual Conference to be held in July, 2005, during our centennial celebrations.
From 1997 to 2000, Lindy was an active proponent of Saskatchewan's becoming an Associate Member of the Midwest CSG.

Over the years, Lindy spoke French during numerous proceedings of the Legislative Assembly and also gave Member’s Statements in Polish, Ukrainian and German. He served as an effective bridge from the Government Caucus to these and many other multicultural groups.
